Snowmass, Colorado is my personal “go-to” ski resort. It’s my current favorite mountain to snowboard and I spend most of my time in Snowmass! It’s very close to where I live and the terrain is just perfect for my snowboarding ability.
I know where to find the best Snowmass restaurants! And I’m sharing my Snowmass experience with you here so you can enjoy them too.
Snowmass, Colorado has incredible dining options throughout the ski resort. From casual restaurants to bar and grill spots, to great Mexican food, Snowmass has it all!
This list of restaurants in Snowmass is divided by specific regions in Snowmass. The regions featured are Base Village (surrounding the bottom of Elk Camp Gondola and the Village Express Lift) Snowmass Mall (upper Snowmass, near the Viewline Resort Snowmass), and finally, on-mountain restaurants on Snowmass.
Snowmass, Colorado, is part of the Aspen Snowmass Resort and is on the same lift ticket as the three other resorts in the area. These other ski resorts are Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, and Buttermilk Ski Area.
Whether you’re staying in Snowmass or closer to one of the other ski resorts in the area, it’s easy to get up to Snowmass for a wonderful lunch or dinner!

Aurum Snowmass is in a perfect location in the heart of Snowmass Base Village, directly off the slopes. This is an ideal place to enjoy an intimate dinner convenient to the shops and slopeside accommodations. Elegant yet casual, Aurum serves delicious snacks such as Crispy Curried Brussel Sprouts, Vegan Tomato Soup, and the Aurum Caesar. For dinner, choose from Pan Seared Scallops, Duck Breast, Bone-In Ribeye, or more delectable selections!

Kinichi Snowmass opened its doors in 2021 in a prime spot in Snowmass Base Village. With a local reputation for amazing sushi, Kinichi has been welcomed to Snowmass Village with open arms!
Kinichi Snowmass has a gorgeous welcoming bar and restaurant design that will make you feel cozy and warm right at home in Snowmass Village.
On the menu at Kinichi you’ll find some unique House Favorites like Torched Salmon, yellowtail and Otoro Serrano, and Pan Seared Duck Breast. Delicious small plates, specialty rolls, and sashimi will delight you on a nice evening at Kinichi Snowmass!
Kinichi also has a location in downtown Aspen and Izakaya in downtown Carbondale.
Located inside the Limelight Snowmass Hotel is the cozy, cute, and spacious Limelight Lounge. The Limelight Lounge offers a wide variety of food selections on its menu in a casual, fun atmosphere.
Salads, Bowls, and Small Plates are great snacks for a quick bite, such as an Arugula Salad, Apple Basil Kale Salad, or Brussel Sprouts. If you’re looking for something to share with friends go with the Chef’s Board, Spinach Artichoke Dip, or Truffle Fries.
Large Plates will be your main meal and you’ll love the Lounge’s Double Cheeseburger or Chicken Piccata! The Limelight Lounge even has a Mushroom Veggie Burger served with guacamole, red onion, and citrus aioli. You don’t need to be a guest at the Limelight Snowmass to enjoy these delicious plates. This is an awesome Snowmass Village restaurant.

At the base of the Snowmass Ski Area, you’ll find Base Camp Bar & Grill, a large two-floor bar and restaurant with a fun, casual vibe. The menu at Base Camp is new American Cuisine, crafted with high-quality ingredients. With a wide selection of cocktails, local beers, and winter warm drinks you’ll find more choices that you know what to do with!
Perfect for sharing, Base Camp Bar & Grill’s menu includes Upstate wings, Parmesan Truffle Fries, and Camp Nachos. Soup and salad choices are plentiful and the handheld sandwiches are savory, fresh, and delicious. Order a Lobster Roll, Smoked Brisket or even a Veggie Burger made with quinoa, white beans, and jalapeno.
The location of Base Camp Bar & Grill is so perfect that you might just stay awhile. Easily walkable to the surrounding condos, townhouses, and hotels.
Toro Kitchen and Lounge is a Latin contemporary restaurant inside the luxurious Viceroy Snowmass hotel. Toro Kitchen is one of the finest restaurants in Snowmass Village, thus if you’re looking for a leisurely sit-down dinner with top service this is a wonderful choice!
Toro Kitchen is a Chef Richard Sandoval restaurant and showcases an innovative approach to Latin dishes. Start at the bar with a hand-crafted cocktail such as a Spicy Paloma or a Sandoval Margarita before dinner.
The Appetizer menu and Sharable dishes are delightful and are a perfect way to begin your meal. Popular are the Ahi Tuna Taquitos and the Traditional Guacamole with Pico de gallo and chips.
Move into the entrees at Toro Kitchen and enjoy the Sakura Pork Chop or Toro Skuna Bay Salmon with bok choy and shimeji mushrooms. There’s also a grilled menu that included Beef Tenderloin and Prime NY Strip. The Crepe Shack is an adorable small shop in Snowmass Village near the Limelight Hotel. The Crepe Shack offers breakfast crepes, savory crepes, and sweet crepes to satisfy all of your cravings! For lunch, order an Italian crepe made with Prosciutto de Parma, oven-roasted Tomatoes, arugula, feta, olives, and balsamic vinegar. Or, the Margarita crepe with gruyere, swiss, and mozzarella cheese with marinara and basil.
If you’re looking for a delicious sweet crepe, try the Millennial which is made with Nutella, banana, berries, almonds, graham cracker, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and chantilly cream. Slice of Italy is a casual pizza place in the heart of Snowmass Village. Pop in for lunch or dinner and order up some creative Italian cuisine. Of course, they serve delicious pizzas, but they also have flatbreads, calzones, and a large menu of modern Italian dishes to choose from. Start off with a hearty Charcuterie board with prosciutto, asiago pepato, roasted red peppers, and more. Spinach Artichoke Dip is also a perfect starter dish or some Cheesy Garlic Bread.

Jus Snowmass is the perfect stop for a healthy snack of fresh pressed juice, a smoothie, or a freshly prepared breakfast or lunch. Pop into Jus Snowmass for a homemade Avocado Toast, Veggie Burrito, or scrumptious Grilled Cheese. Fresh salads and lunch wraps are also on offer at Jus Snowmass for a delicious lunch.

Venga Venga is one of my favorite places for a margarita in Snowmass! After a day of skiing, Venga Venga is perfect for a yummy Mexican Apres ski visit or dinner in Snowmass, Colorado. Located slopeside next to the Skittles lift, you’ll get to watch skiers come down Fanny Hill as you sip on your beverage and wait for your fajitas.
Order up some Guacamole or Venga Nachos for the table to start off the meal. From there, Venga Venga has a fantastic menu of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and all of your other Mexican favorites! Check out the menu here for Venga Venga Snowmass.

Stark’s Alpine Grille is a new addition to the Snowmass restaurant scene, located inside the slopeside hotel, Viewline Snowmass. At Stark’s Alpine Grille, first, you’ll find a lovely slopeside location with views of the snowy ski runs. This is a casual yet elegant restaurant with a lovely menu of American cuisine.
Fresh salads, starters (such as Truffle Mac & Cheese) that are hearty and delectable, and savory entrees are what you can look forward to at Stark’s Alpine Grille.
Half Roasted Red Bird Chicken, Stark’s Wagyu Bolognese, and Blackened Ora King Salmon are all wonderful choices for a nice, leisurely dinner. Delicious side dishes are on offer too along with an extensive cocktail and wine menu. Review the entire Stark’s Alpine Grille menu here.
The Edge Restaurant is located inside the Timberline Condominium property complex, which is slopeside in Snowmass. The Edge Restaurant in Snowmass is a cozy, comfortable restaurant serving European specialties on the menu such as Wienerschnitzel, Wursts (you choose two “Wursts” such as Bierwurst, Hirschwurst, Huhnerbratwurst or Weisswurst) and Fondue!
Additional Main Courses at the Timberline Restaurant are Steak Vom Rind or Icelandic Salmon. A nice selection of side dishes is also on the menu, along with Apple Strudel dessert and many others! To take a look at the Timberline Restaurant menu go here.
The Artisan Restaurant is a cozy, comfortable restaurant inside The Stonebridge Inn, a family-friendly property just steps from the slopes in Snowmass. Sit by the fireplace with a drink before dinner in the lounge or relax by the bar. Choose a few delicious entrees from The Artisan’s American cuisine menu.
Grub Thai is a perfect local take-out Thai cuisine spot! Or, instead of taking it out, stop in and eat a savory Thai noodle dish at a little table inside with friends and family.
Choose from one of your Thai favorites like Pad See Ew or Green or Yellow Curry with rich flavors of turmeric, coriander, and vegetables. Start off with a Green Papaya Salad or Tom Yum Shrimp as appetizers to begin your evening.
Zane’s Tavern in Snowmass is a great local’s restaurant to grab a casual lunch or dinner! Zane’s has a casual bar vibe with a menu to match. Order up some crispy Onion Rings, Cheesesteak Eggrolls, or Mozzarella Sticks to start off your meal.
Move on to a popular Zane’s burger with BBQ Sauce, bacon, and cheddar or mushroom and swiss. Cheesesteaks are another choice on Zane’s Tavern menu are savory and delicious. This is a fantastic casual restaurant in Snowmass.
For saucy, delicious pizza in Snowmass, Taster’s is the place to go! At Taster’s, you’ll also find a full menu of Garlic Bread, Salads, Pasta, and Sub Sandwiches that will satisfy any appetite.
After a long day of skiing or a summer afternoon of hiking, Taster’s is a perfect, hearty choice for dinner.
Inside the Wildwood Snowmass, next to the Viewline Snowmass Hotel, you’ll find the Last Chair, a cozy little bar with a fun vibe! A simple and delightful menu is on offer at the Last Chair that includes Parmesan Truffle Fries, Cobb Salad, Grilled Cheese, or an Impossible Burger and fries. Check out the menu at Last Chair here.

Located directly off the slopes of Snowmass is the New Belgium Ranger Station. New Belgium Ranger Station is a super casual, fun spot for Apres Ski in Snowmass. Stop in with your friends or family for some Baked Pretzel Rolls, Ranger Nachos, or Alpine Potatoes. These tasty appetizers pair wonderfully with Ranger Margarita, the Ranger Mule, or a Juicy Haze IPA.
Big Hoss Grill is a local’s cozy restaurant with a full menu of smoked BBQ entrees, sandwiches, and crispy appetizers. Big Hoss Grill is known for its BBQ entrees such as the Kansas City Pulled Pork Plate, Texas Brisket Plate, and the Center Cut St. Louis Ribs so if you love BBQ, Big Hoss is for you! In addition to the stellar BBQ, this cozy restaurant on the Snowmass Mall offers a Turkey Reuben, Jen’s Club Sammy made with a double-decker of turkey, bacon, and cheese with lettuce, tomato, and mayo.

If you’re looking for a nice Italian dinner in Snowmass, Colorado, Il Poggio is my top Snowmass restaurant recommendation. Il Poggio has been in Snowmass for years and is a local’s favorite dining experience. Il Poggio is just a short walk from the Viewline Resort Snowmass hotel on the Snowmass Mall. Start your dinner with a crisp Romaine Salad, Roasted Beet Salad, or Salami & Cheese plate.
Pizzas, Gnocchi, Ravioli, Linguini, and other fresh pasta dishes are all on offer at Il Poggio. Additionally, Il Poggio offers Beef Tenderloin entree or Colorado Lamb Loin Chops. They typically also have a fish entree selection on the menu also. Take a glance at the Il Poggio menu here.
One of my all-time favorite restaurants in Snowmass for lunch is The Stew Pot! The Stew Pot is perfect for cozy, quick lunch that’s delicious. If you’re looking for a hot bowl of Veggie Chili, Corn Chowder, Chicken Noodle Soup, Irish Lamb Stew, or any others, check with The Stew Pot located on the Snowmass Mall. The Stew Pot has daily selections that change regularly so always check their menu of the day to see if they have something you’re interested in for lunch.
The Stew Pot also offers Salads and a full Sandwich menu that includes The Pilgrim, made with Turkey, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on multigrain bread. Chicken, Tuna, or Egg Salad is on the menu as well as a delicious Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bacon Jam.
Fuel is one of my favorite coffee shops in Snowmass, Colorado. Fuel not only has scrumptious coffee and hot drinks in the morning but also offers an awesome menu for Breakfast and Lunch. Breakfast is served all day at Fuel Snowmass, which is perfect if you’re craving an Egg Sandwich after an afternoon of skiing. Breakfast burritos, Bagel Sandwiches, Italian BLT Sandwiches, or Jamaican Jerk Wraps are all available at Fuel.
Fuel also makes delicious healthy smoothies throughout the day. Stop into Fuel if you’re looking for a tasty blend of fruit such as a tropical Peach smoothie, Green Giant, and Berry Blast. Review the entire Fuel Snowmass menu here.

On Mountain – Snowmass Mountain
Up 4 Pizza
You’ll find Up 4 Pizza at the top of the Big Burn Lift on Snowmass Mountain. Up 4 Pizza is a perfect spot for a heavenly slice of pizza, earned from your ski turns! Stop in for a quick and casual pizza lunch with your friends on Snowmass Mountain. Up 4 Pizza also offers freshly baked cookies for dessert! The chocolate chip cookies are the best and are baked throughout the day.
You’ll find Elk Camp Restaurant at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola. Elk Camp offers Pizzas, soups, a healthy and hearty salad bar, panini sandwiches, and more! Elk Camp is a beautifully designed alpine building with plenty of seating and a cozy fireplace. There are plenty of choices for entrees, beverages, and side dishes all prepared with fresh ingredients and house-made dressings.
Elk Camp also has a great Grab and Go section in case you’re simply stopping in for a super quick snack! Enjoy indoor and outdoor seating, weather permitting. If it’s a sunny day, the deck is perfect for dining!
High Alpine (Formerly known as Gwyn’s)
High Alpine is located at the top of the Alpine Springs lift in Snowmass. High Alpine will delight you with fresh salads, soups, sandwiches, and pizzas in a casual setting. Great views all around High Alpine as they serve market-style fresh food.
If it’s time for breakfast or lunch and you want to make a cozy stop during your ski day, pop into High Alpine for a quick, delicious meal! One of the best on-mountain Snowmass restaurants.
If you’re looking for an elegant on-mountain dining experience, visit Sam’s, atop the Village Express Lift. The bright dining room is gorgeous and offers stunning mountain views while you dine on fabulous Italian cuisine. You’ll enjoy a variety of thoughtfully sourced Italian entrees which include Rigatoni Bolognese, Linguini and Clams, Grilled Salmon, and more.
For classic burgers and a casual, delightful menu, stop into Ullrhof on Snowmass Mountain! Ullrhof is located at the bottom of the Big Burn lift, convenient for a perfect casual lunch spot. Serving scrumptious hand-cut french fries and the best burgers and hot dogs around, pop into Ullrhof for a super casual bite.
Snowmass, Colorado is a stunning ski resort included in Aspen Snowmass’s four mountains. There are so many incredible and diverse restaurants to choose from in Snowmass so be sure to try as many as you can! From casual veggie chili at the Stew Pot to elegant Italian cuisine at Il Poggio to Mexican cuisine at Venga Venga – Snowmass has it all!
